Empowering Sim Racers

Here at SimStaff, we are looking for talented freelance writers passionate about: Technology, Sim racing, Events, and the virtual racing world. This position is an exciting opportunity to support our companies (SimStaff and SimRigSupport) in the digital motorsport racing community.

As a freelance writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content that resonates within the world of Sim Racing. We’ll provide you the general theme and points to hit on, you just need to work your way with words to help us present them!

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality written content related to sim racing, events, sim rigs & technical challenges.
• Collaborate with the writing team to create captivating articles, news pieces and content.
• Conduct research to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is provided for all content – we want to make sure we’re giving people great information!
• Meet deadlines consistently, demonstrating strong time management skills.
• Adapt writing style to align with the respective brand voices of SimStaff and SimRigSupport

Requirements

• A demonstrated ability to write content within the niche of Sim Racing and Digital Motorsport
• An in-depth understanding of sim racing mechanics, terminology, and trends.
• Excellent command of the English language, including exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
• You should be able to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively with the wider writing teams.
• Knowledge of WordPress is essential.
