To that end, the SimStaff engineering team designed and manufactured two bespoke accessibility simulators entirely in-house, the first rigs of their kind ever created by SimStaff.
These innovative simulator stations allow wheelchair users to race without transferring from their wheelchair into a cockpit, making the experience significantly more accessible while maintaining the same immersive driving experience as every other simulator in the suite. Each accessible rig features the same Fanatec Direct Drive technology found throughout the installation, ensuring every visitor enjoys the same high-quality force feedback and authentic racing experience.
The flexible design also enables the rigs to be used as children’s simulators, allowing younger visitors to comfortably enjoy the attraction while making the SimSuite welcoming to an even broader audience.
