Imagine having a close battle with an opponent, one where you are trying to chase them down lap after lap. Even though you have a slipstream advantage, you don’t ever get closer, and they just seem to get further and further away with each lap that goes by. Doubting yourself in the moment won’t do any good, so you press on, superfocused. After the race, going over the replay, you spot it: your throttle input graph, delivered by your Asetek Invicta throttle pedal, is stuck at 98%, an error that just invalidated days upon days of practice.
Such throttle input issues are not uncommon, regardless of pedal type. In this entry, we will show you how to fix this issue using only an Allen key and a ruler. Thanks to the adjustability built into the Invicta pedals, it is a quick fix that gets you back on track in no time.
Adjusting the Throttle Travel Stop
The Invicta Throttle uses a Hall-effect sensor to determine the pedal’s physical position. As the pedal moves, the sensor measures the changing magnetic field generated by a magnet attached to the mechanism. By adjusting the available pedal travel, you also alter the magnet’s position relative to the sensor at full throttle, thus avoiding saturation of the Hall-effect sensor. Therefore, adjusting the throttle travel stop is the first priority, followed by recalibrating in RaceHub, which can often restore full throttle input.
Our initial goal in this step is to back the throttle stop off by approximately 0.5 mm, which is where the ruler comes in.

First, loosen the orange thumbnut on the pedal stop. This is the part that is in physical contact with the pedal tray surface.
Second, use an Allen key to unscrew the Allen screw on top of the pedal stop. Lift it by 0.5 mm.
Afterwards, re-tighten the thumbnut by rotating it clockwise.
The top of the stop mechanism should now sit approximately 0.5 mm higher than before. It is important to ensure that the top of the Allen screw is the part making metal-to-metal contact with the pedal at full activation. This is demonstrated clearly in Asetek’s other instruction video.

After these changes are made, make sure to run through the calibration process in RaceHub to ensure the software accounts for the new hardware. Verify that the throttle now registers a clear 0–100% input.
